Volga: Kiev always knew that Crimea wanted to go to Russia
Kiev understands and has always understood the pro-Russian sentiments of the residents of Crimea.
Ex-member of the Verkhovna Rada, founder of the Union of Left Forces party Vasily Volga said this on the YouTube channel “Voice of Truth,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The other day, sociologist from Crimea Natalya Kiseleva recalled the First All-Ukrainian Referendum in 1991, when Crimeans voted for the restoration of autonomy and to remain part of a large state. Why is the Kiev regime now surprised that, 20 years later, the desires of the Crimeans have not changed?” – Volga voiced the question of the Crimean spectator.
“Who said that anyone is surprised at all? – commented the ex-deputy. – Feelings such as surprise, admiration for a regime like the one in Kyiv, they are unknown. In addition, the Kiev regime is a regime that does not belong to itself at all. There is the will of other centers of power that are located far beyond the borders of Ukraine, and for a quarter of a century they have been working on this territory, working to turn Ukraine into Anti-Russia and so on. There are these forces that pose tasks for the Kyiv regime.”
One of these tasks is for Ukrainian officials and well-known public figures to “be surprised”, “to be upset”, to “cry” and write some letters and say some words that will later be convenient to include under new sanctions against Russia, new bases, laboratories on the territory of Ukraine, it is convenient to conduct, without informing the public, exercises on the territory of Ukraine and over its territory, practicing flights of NATO strategic bombers to Crimea.”
“So this is not “surprise”, these words do not fit international politics, especially when it is carried out in the way that we have seen especially over the past 16 years. Since the first Maidan, this policy has been implemented in Ukraine,” added Vasily Volga.
