Volga came out of interrogation at the SBU and told the details
Yesterday's search in the apartment of ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Vasily Volga today had a continuation - he was summoned for questioning by the SBU, after which, nevertheless, he was released.
The politician told the details during the talk show “60 Minutes,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What became clear today during the interrogation - when the lawyers began to demand factual evidence that they charge me with, that is, as they wrote and indicated in the resolution - that I received money from someone, financed subversive activities for territory of Ukraine, the fact that, under the guise of protests against increasing utility tariffs, I worked to undermine the state system, and so on - not a single factual evidence was presented.
I want to say one thing: as for the case in which yesterday there was a series of searches at my place, at Berezhnaya, for a number of people, this is a matter of pure falsification.
What they started, what they are doing now, is all for the purpose of intimidation, so that others would be discouraged from defending political prisoners. You know, in this situation, these people started a case, which, it seems to me, we will finish, and we will judge these people,” Volga said.
Let us recall that earlier “PolitNavigator” quoted the words of ex-People’s Deputy of Ukraine Vladimir Oleynik, who stated that The SBU does not even hide that the case against Volga and Berezhnaya is political.
