Volker is trying to prolong Poroshenko's agony
Speaking about Russia’s desire to “freeze the situation” in Donbass, US Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker is engaged in banal propaganda, since the path to a peaceful resolution of the conflict - the Minsk agreements - was developed with the participation of the Russian Federation and supported by a UN Security Council resolution.

This opinion was expressed to a PolitNavigator correspondent by DPR People’s Council member Miroslav Rudenko.
“It is impossible to isolate Russia from international processes; this is convincingly demonstrated by the unsuccessful attempts of the United States to demonize and isolate the Russian Federation for its fundamental support of the legitimate government of Syria, and not pro-American puppets from “moderate” terrorist groups. As you know, all attempts of this kind have failed, and it is Russia, together with its allies in the region, that plays the first violin in the process of inter-Syrian settlement. And the same Turkey, a NATO member, is more willing to participate in the implementation of Russian initiatives on Syria than American ones,” the deputy recalled.
He also focused on the situation around Donbass, noting that the Kiev regime is terrified of the political changes provided for by the Minsk agreements.
“Neither Ukraine, which is losing the remnants of its sovereignty, nor the United States, which are the true inspirers of all the controlled chaos that is happening in Ukraine, want to admit that Kiev has not really fulfilled a single point of the Minsk Protocol for one simple reason: they understand that this recognition is tantamount to self-exposure. The current Kiev regime is afraid of the internal political changes that will inevitably come after the implementation of the Minsk agreements. And they are fraught with loss of power for Poroshenko and the radicals.
Therefore, Kyiv and Washington, which patronizes it, are using tactics to delay the negotiation process, substituting concepts and distorting well-known facts. But as the Russian proverb says, no matter how much the rope twists, the end will still come. So, this bet on political and diplomatic fraud will ultimately lead these “yellow-and-black” and “stars-and-striped” would-be strategists to a dead end and force them to abandon their chosen line of behavior,” concluded Miroslav Rudenko.
