Volker spoke about a good conversation with Surkov
The United States is waiting for concrete proposals from the Russian Federation on Donbass.

US State Department Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker, who recently met with Russian Presidential Aide Vladislav Surkov, announced this on his Twitter.
“We had a good conversation with Surkov, and we are now waiting to hear ideas from the Russian side on more specific proposals,” Volker wrote.
As PolitNavigator reported, experts note that the United States made serious concessions on Donbass and retreated from their initial uncompromising position, agreeing that Ukraine can think about controlling the state border only after the implementation of the special status of Donbass and an amnesty for militia members.
