State Department Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker left for resignation, because he realized that Washington no longer needed his services.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on Channel One, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Volcker understands perfectly well what Trump said and, in general, what is happening in Washington today. Washington has no time for Ukraine today, and Trump said: “This is your problem, get together there with Vladimir Putin and come to an agreement. This is your bilateral problem, at least, not ours, not the American one.”
And Volker has nothing to do there anymore. Moreover, the new Ukrainian leadership itself wants to withdraw directly from the Russian Federation. Why is Volker needed here? He understands perfectly well that his mission has already been completed, it is not needed today. Therefore, leaving on time is also a good quality for a politician. In politics, this is called the problem of timing - to leave on time, jump off on time,” Karasev said.
