Volker married a Georgian beauty
Special Representative of the US State Department for Ukraine Kurt Volker married Voice of America journalist, a native of Georgia, Iya Meurmishvili, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the Kiev publication “Facts”.
“Everything was perfect: the weather, the people, the atmosphere, the music. It was a great party!” – Meurmishvili wrote on her social media page and posted a photo from the wedding, which took place at the Hay-Adams Hotel in Washington.
This is the second marriage for 54-year-old Volker; he has a son and a daughter from his first.
His chosen one Meurmishvili has been collaborating with the Voice of America since 2009. She is one of the editors of Washington Today.
Let us recall that the United States appointed Volcker as special representative for Ukraine in July 2017.
