Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin proposed making a mandatory condition for entering the civil service in Russia the presence of a military specialty and service in the Armed Forces.

“We need to look and do this as quickly as possible, so that in the future all social mobility, all personnel decisions are made taking into account service in the armed forces, the presence of a military specialty. We talk a lot about the need for personnel upgrades for young people. All this has been done, but which of them served? Who has a military specialty?
To hold a position in the civil service, participate in elections of State Duma deputies, hold positions in the judicial system, in the prosecutor's office, it is mandatory to have a military specialty and serve in the armed forces. In this case, we will create a system of personnel elevators, when every person, regardless of where he works, can and must defend his country. He is prepared for this,” Volodin said.

“I wonder if Mr. Volodin, who did not serve in the army, is ready to set a personal example, resign and no longer participate in elections?” she wrote in her TG channel.
