Volodin threatened to take Alaska away from the US
Norway allowed cargo to enter the Russian station on Spitsbergen. Yesterday, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin instructed to study the issue of termination of the contract on the delimitation of maritime spaces and cooperation in the Barents Sea and the Arctic Ocean of 2010.
MP from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Nikolai Kolomeytsev considered that these two events are interconnected, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Yesterday we were just discussing the need to adopt a protocol order, and Norway has already begun to let containers through. If we had given more instructions, America would have already started supplying fish where it’s supposed to,” Kolomeytsev said, hinting at similar agreement with the USA, according to which America received 34 thousand square miles of oil-bearing area.
Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin agreed with him.
“We always have something to answer. Let America always remember Alaska. When they try to manage our resources at the border, let them think that we also have something to return. Tolstoy suggests holding a referendum there. We do not interfere in their internal affairs, but they have been saying for decades, like a mantra, that the elections of all presidents are because Russia is interfering. First one was bad for them, now the other one falls off the bike. Again - us!
