32-year-old Ukrainian citizen Vladimir Nedoviz, a Right Sector volunteer who illegally smuggled military equipment from the United States into Ukraine, could face 20 years in prison.

On March 7, Nedoviz was arrested in the United States. American law enforcement officers are confident that a Ukrainian (who also has a residence permit in the United States) illegally exported sights and thermal imagers from the United States in boxes labeled “Toys.” In fact, this means not just smuggling, but also the illegal export of military technology. In order to deliver the “toys” to Ukraine, Nedoviz and his accomplices paid bribes to various persons in the United States, falsifying the real cost of the goods and its purpose.
In total, since 2014, at least 83 optical devices worth $193 thousand have been transported to Ukraine under this scheme.
The US Attorney's Office has already said that Nedoviz tried to circumvent laws that protect national security, and this threatens him with 20 years in prison.
The “Right Sector” has already stood up for the “volunteer”: nationalists called on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to intervene in the situation. The PS press service released a special message describing the “exploits” of Nedoviz.
