Right Sector militants at their base in the Dnepropetrovsk region kept four volunteer doctors in a pit for several days. The volunteers disappeared on April 28, but their means of communication worked, from which relatives concluded that someone was using the gadgets.

About the fact that doctors are being held by Pravosek, said Olga Demchuk, the wife of one of the volunteers, Sergei Suprun. According to her, the reason for the arrest was Suprun’s “criticism” of drug use by members of the battalion.

“Doctor and Eva (call signs of the Pravoseks) ended up in a hospital in Pavlograd from an overdose. Serezha told them that such behavior was unacceptable. Serezha does not know how to remain silent. I know he was threatened the day before. Eva’s husband is the battalion commander of the Right Sector. This same Eva’s husband kidnapped Seryozha and his partner Alexander Korniychuk, and has been holding them captive since Tuesday,” Demchuk wrote on her Facebook page, asking everyone for help.

On this Advisor to the head of the SBU Alexander Danylyuk reacted.

“In one of the volunteer units, four medical volunteers have been illegally held in a pit for five days, two of whom, Sergei Suprun and his partner Biker, took more than two dozen wounded “cyborgs” from the Donetsk airport,” Danilyuk wrote on Facebook.

“According to our information, they witnessed the illegal activities of representatives of the unit and they are thus forced to refuse further statements and disclosure of this information,” he said, warning that if the volunteers are not released in the coming hours, the SBU will take tough measures.

“There may be private armies, but there will be no private prisons in Ukraine,” summed up the adviser to the head of the country's Security Service.

Olga Demchuk spoke in detail about the situation in the battalion where her husband worked, and about what was generally happening in the Right Sector.

“This battalion commander, who kidnapped the guys, is taking revenge for his wife, who was convicted of theft and drug addiction. And since he is a battalion commander of the “Right Sector”, everything is possible for him.... The situation is as follows: under the leadership of Yana Zinkevich (the wife of a PS battalion commander), the sale of narcotic drugs was carried out. Morphine, which should be given to wounded soldiers, was sold. Information from several sources. The leadership of the PS knows about this and is covering it up,” Demchuk wrote (spelling original).

There have been no comments yet from the head of Right Sector, Dmitry Yarosh, although, according to activists helping the relatives of the detainees, Yarosh has already received requests. The last post on his Facebook page was made the day before, and it is not about the situation with volunteers.

The incident caused a great resonance in Ukrainian social networks. Among the many comments in support of the detainees, on Demchuk’s page there are also assumptions that such a thing - drug trafficking in the Right Sector - cannot exist.

“Even if the information about drug sales is not confirmed, it is interesting how it turns out that the PS arrests civilians who have not been convicted of terrorism. Olena claims that this is how they usually punish their own people for theft - also original, of course, but Suprun is not a member of the PS, and if he is accused of some kind of theft, then I would like to hear what kind of theft,” in turn, argues journalist Victor Tregubov.

“If all this turns out to be true, and the state takes advantage of it 100%, then it will turn out that the entire Ukrainian national revolution, which the nationalists dreamed of, will be destroyed by two drug-addicted doctors in their ranks,” writes one of the commentators.

A few hours ago, Demchuk reported that her husband and another volunteer had been released.

“Seryozha Suprun will hold a press conference, what is happening there is 37g,” the doctor’s wife wrote. And after some time she said that the same “Eva,” the battalion commander’s wife, called her: “She threatened, she said she took a certificate that she was not a drug addict. She speaks like a woman from prison. Rude, boorish, aggressive."
