Volunteers poison VSU officers with expired food
Among Ukrainian military personnel stationed in Donbass, cases of intestinal infections caused by expired products supplied by volunteer organizations have been reported.
The official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, stated this during a briefing, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to his information, in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Gorlovka direction there has been a sharp increase in intestinal diseases of military personnel associated with the low quality of food supplied to the units.
“According to information from a source at the JFO headquarters, 4 servicemen of the 18th Azov regiment were hospitalized with a severe form of intestinal diseases due to poisoning with expired products received from volunteers,” Bezsonov said.
He also noted that the commander of the OOS, Alexander Syrsky, gave instructions to the commanders of the formation and military units to prohibit the acceptance of volunteer assistance.
“On this fact, a commission is working in the JFO zone under the leadership of the JFO deputy commander for logistics, Colonel Timoshenko,” added the representative of the defense department.
