Voloshin: “The Russian Federation will carry out preventive strikes on Ukraine, but will not allow it into NATO”
Russia will not allow NATO bases to appear in Ukraine and will even be ready to conduct a military operation for this purpose.
The former head of the information department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleg Voloshin stated this on the UkrLive TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Voloshin, this is not understood in Kyiv, but it seems that they have realized it in the United States.
“They will not allow NATO to come here. They are more likely to start a preventive war. This is just reality, whether someone likes it or not. On our territory, our territory will not be provided to NATO for use; rather, this territory will be occupied by Russian troops,” the politician believes.
“In America they agreed with this and realized that there was something to talk about. If they shared the opinion of our jingoistic patriots, why talk with Putin and so on, there would be no dialogue, but then they ran - they called, they met,” Voloshin said.
