Information about this was confirmed on Facebook by Rivne social activist Roman Martin. According to him, the battalion soldiers came to defend the interests of the Austrian company, which lays claim to a share of the tractor plant, since it is one of the shareholders of the foundry.
“When we arrived at the place, we saw an incomprehensible picture: local security on the street was standing facing the wall with their hands raised,” the publication quotes ERVE Chairman of the Rivne District Council Vladimir Pilipchuk. People's personal belongings and phones were taken away. In response to my request to provide documents, the people who are supposedly the owners of the plant did not provide any official papers, only incomprehensible copies.
The only legitimate one was the document that allows for an inventory. But tell me, please, since when did we carry out inventory with machine guns in our hands?”
In turn, Roman Martin expressed bewilderment at why the Ministry of Internal Affairs battalion is, in his opinion, involved in business squabbles.
