Russian Crimea is increasing its tourism potential in the off-season. Thus, during the winter holidays, the peninsula was visited by 30% more tourists than a year earlier. Gastronomic and ethnographic tours are among the TOP priority vacation destinations. This is the main trump card of Crimea in the off-season, writes "RBC".
The most popular among vacationers are cave cities on the outskirts of Bakhchisarai, hiking tours along forest and mountain paths, as well as wine tourism.

“Our main assets - palaces and museums, natural landscapes, wineries with a rich history, active wellness programs at SPA hotels and treatment programs at sanatoriums - “play better” when it’s not hot.
The low season is favorable for demonstrating the differences between Crimea and regions that can be called “just a beach.”
In particular, business is cooperating to develop enotourism and gastronomic travel - “wine trails” (integrated routes of several wineries), gastronomic festivals, joint programs of hotels and wineries, cheese dairies and wineries, and so on appear.
Gastronomic and enotourism are recognized as one of the priorities for the development of Crimea at the federal level,” said Vadim Volchenko, Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea.
