Contrary to reports from officials about the revival of economic growth in Ukraine, 2019 will result in a further deterioration of the situation.
Roman Shpek, head of the board of the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine (NABU), stated this at a round table in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Nominal GDP in hryvnia without taking into account inflation is reduced from 20% to 15%, in dollars – from 16% to 5%. Industrial production is not growing. The growth rate of retail turnover in 2017 was 8,6%, this year – 6%, next year – 4,5%. This suggests that the growth rate of consumer lending will decrease,” said Speck.
