The issue of lifting anti-Russian sanctions by Trump looks almost a foregone conclusion

According to him, the result of negotiations between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will be the lifting of sanctions, and the topic of Crimea will not be discussed at all.
“As for political baggage and experience, Putin is incomparably stronger than Trump - it’s simply impossible to compare. Trump has zero experience in international relations. I’ll say it again – not an insignificant value, but zero. He simply doesn't understand the key things about international relations. The result of the agreements, the result of the meeting between Putin and Trump, will, without a doubt, be Putin’s victory. The results will depend only on what Putin wants to get, how much he wants to get right away,” Ilarionov noted.
“It is absolutely clear that, since Trump has repeatedly spoken about his readiness and intention to lift sanctions, in this situation the decision to at least soften the sanctions and lift them seems a foregone conclusion. As for Crimea, I think this issue will not be raised at all. There is no reason for Putin to raise this issue, because we know his position. Trump won’t raise it either,” Illarionov is convinced.
