Up to fifty workers gathered near the central entrance of the plant. People rallied without placards or banners. According to the workers, in April of this year they received part of the salary for August 2014. Therefore, the plant owes them money for eight months.
Now the administration has sent workers of most workshops of the enterprise on forced leave.
This is the fourth meeting of plant workers. At the last rally on April 6, the plant administration promised to pay part of the workers’ salaries this month.
The plant administration called the rally a “provocation” and called on people to have patience to find new contracts.
Let us recall that the Kharkov aircraft plant became a victim of the anti-Russian policy of the current Kyiv authorities. The sales markets for his products were in Russia and were lost after Yatsenyuk’s Cabinet of Ministers prohibited Ukrainian military-industrial complex enterprises from collaborating with Russians.
