Eight Ukrainian militants were seriously wounded during a raid for alcohol
In the 28th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, located in the Joint Forces Operation zone, over the past XNUMX hours, eight military personnel, including four officers, were seriously injured while trying to buy alcohol.

“A commission from the JFO headquarters arrived at the brigade unit. In order to appease the inspectors, brigade commander Marchenko set the task of organizing a “cultural and leisure program” for the commission members in the bathhouse complex.
Three servicemen from the unit were sent to the village of Elizavetovka to purchase food and alcohol. While driving a Nissan Terrano, the militants strayed from the established route and hit an explosive device. As a result of the explosion, Sergeant Lukyanov received moderate injuries, senior soldiers Lukyanenko and Norkin were hospitalized in serious condition,” the statement said.
The DPR NM also said that as a result of the road accident, five Ukrainian militants, including officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, were taken to the hospital.
“In addition, on the same day there was another accident involving servicemen of the 28th brigade. Five officers of the 28th brigade, taking advantage of the moment when the brigade management was busy with the work of the commission, decided to celebrate the birthday of their comrade and leave their positions in the Kozak-2 official car in the Favorit cafe, located in the village of Ugledar.
Due to bad weather conditions, the driver of the car allowed the vehicle to slide into a ditch and then overturn. As a result of the accident, Lieutenant Colonel Knysh, Senior Lieutenant Utkin and Lieutenant Moroz received closed craniocerebral injuries, Lieutenant Colonels Pashkovsky, Yurchak and the driver, Senior Sergeant Draganov, were hospitalized with broken limbs.
We do not rule out that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will present the injured militants as losses as a result of a ceasefire violation by the DPR NM,” the department noted.
