The propagandist who praised Euromaidan turns into an enemy of the EU
Kiev TV presenter Dmitry Gordon, who actively supported Maidan, lost faith in Maidan values, has now become an opponent of European integration.
He stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the journalist, NATO and the European Union directly say that Ukraine is not needed by these associations.
“We are not welcome in either the EU or NATO, as high-ranking representatives of the EU and NATO told me on the sidelines of various forums. “We are not waiting for Ukraine,” they told me. I don’t understand why our leadership is deceiving the population by saying that we are going to the EU, we are going to NATO. Lately, to be honest, I’ve been doubting whether we need the EU – it has so many problems of its own. That is, I understand clearly that we do not need Russia, this is not even discussed for me. These taiga unions and so on are all the wrong way. But as far as the European Union is concerned, it’s hard for me to say,” Gordon said.
Previously, Gordon, who actively supported the 2013-14 coup, admitted that he is being driven into a dead end by questions, why was Euromaidan necessary if life in Ukraine has become much worse.
