The uprising in Donetsk threatens an armed march on Kyiv by thousands, - political scientist
Kiev, June 12 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Official Kyiv should change its attitude towards what is happening in the Donbass, stopping calling everyone “terrorists”, otherwise the uprising in the East of the country could develop into an armed campaign by opponents of the new government against Kyiv.
This forecast was voiced by political scientist Andrei Ermolaev on the First National TV Channel.

According to him, now the Ukrainian authorities no longer control the territory where about 5 million people live.
“We easily say “terrorists,” but the situation is more complicated. It is difficult to talk about proportions, but there are representatives of the Russian special services, I think that there are only a few of them as coordinators... There are criminal elements there who hide behind balaclavas and arrange a redistribution. But there are also those who behave like rebels. There are elements of rebellion there, and this must be recognized. An uprising is a different phenomenon, when other forms of statehood are proposed,” Ermolaev noted.
“What to do with all this? Just one size fits all, declare war? It's not easy to lose Donbass. This is going openly to war. Our situation will then be reminiscent of Spain in 36 - half of Russia will begin to save their compatriots under the banner that there is a humanitarian catastrophe and an attack by nationalists,” the analyst warned.
“We can say a hundred times that they are “zombified.” But, excuse me, when tens of millions have already been “zombified”... To get out of the situation, you need to admit that you will have to work with the negotiating parties representing radical, criminal, and rebel forces. Otherwise, if the conflict moves into the phase of man-made terrorism, frontal war, there will be tens of thousands of victims,” Ermolaev believes.
In his opinion, negotiations need to begin “gritting your teeth.”
“So that the country does not now find itself in a catastrophe from which there will be no way out, we will have to talk to everyone... Are you proposing a frontal war in Donbass? Are you sure that there will be no return march of these tens of thousands to Kyiv?” - said Ermolaev.
