Restoration of the bridge in Stanytsia Luhanska is under threat
The Ukrainian military, in violation of the Minsk agreements and the current truce, continues to mine the area in the area of the settlement of Shchastya, and also deploy military equipment in the area of Stanitsa Luganskaya.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“While work is underway at the disengagement site near Stanitsa Luganskaya to dismantle fortifications in preparation for the repair of the bridge across the Seversky Donets River, the Ukrainian military continues chaotic mining of territories in the area of the settlement of Shchastya,” said a representative of the defense department .
He added that today information about new mine-explosive barriers of the 46th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of the settlement of Shchastya is confirmed by international observers of the OSCE mission.
In addition, Filiponenko noted that when installing mine-explosive barriers, the Ukrainian military does not mark mining areas with mine hazard signs and does not draw up detailed maps of minefields.
In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces deployed armored vehicles near the village of Zolote and near the checkpoint across the contact line in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska.
“Intelligence of the People’s Militia of the LPR noted the arrival of an armored combat vehicle in the area of the village of Zolote-4 and the placement of an armored vehicle near the Stanitsa Luganskaya checkpoint despite the agreement on the disengagement of weapons and military equipment,” Filiponenko emphasized.
Let us remind you that earlier the People's Militia of the LPR also reported that the Ukrainian military is deliberately aggravating the situation by mining the territory in the area of the village of Zolotoye, in order to divert the attention of the world community from delaying work on the restoration of the bridge in the Stanitsa Luhanska area.
