This is “independence”: 60% of Ukrainians recognize it as a colony
61% of Ukrainians surveyed agree with the statement that politicians act “on the instructions of foreign governments and international organizations.” In the eastern regions, this opinion is shared by 74% of respondents.
These results of the study were presented today by the pro-Western Kiev International Institute of Sociology, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In addition, domestic oligarchs and corrupt officials are ahead of Russia in the threat rating, which pro-Western sociologists proposed to compile for the residents of Ukraine.
Respondents most often named oligarchs (53%), corrupt officials (41%) and only then Russia (28%) as “the main enemy of the Ukrainian state.”
At the same time, in Ukraine, as on the eve of the election of Vladimir Zelensky, there is still a “belief in miracles”: 60% of respondents said that “decisions and laws that are important for society can be approved urgently, albeit with a violation of the procedure” (how does this compare with the above-mentioned understanding that politicians are fulfilling tasks set from abroad is a question for researchers of a different profile).
The survey was conducted at the end of September in Kiev-controlled territories, and 2035 people took part.
