The SBU detains and expels from the country at the request of Russia citizens of the Russian Federation who fought in the Donbass for Ukraine. People's Deputy, lawyer Georgy Logvinsky stated this on the air of the talk show "Shuster LIVE".
According to him, the SBU is obliged to do this under international treaties.

“Unfortunately, to this day, I still come across cases when, at the request of the Russian Federation, citizens of another country or, including the Russian Federation, are arrested in Ukraine on the basis that they defended Ukraine in Donbass.
The SBU says: “We received a request, we have an agreement, we are fulfilling it. Behold, there is a court.” The court says: “Sorry, we received documents - we arrested these people.” Then everything goes towards extradition.
In fact, because a person in Donbass defended our country, we arrest him and extradite him. Instead of protecting and somehow rewarding,” Logvinsky said.
