Ukrainian manufacturers intend to concentrate their efforts on selling goods in Africa and Asia, since the European Union has not fulfilled its promises to create a free trade zone and maintains restrictions for Ukraine.
Bogdan Shapoval, coordinator of the Council on Food Exports, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.

“Looking at the latest trends that are happening in the European Union, in particular regarding sugar, we also received an answer regarding poultry meat and restrictions on the import of products into the European Union due to one outbreak of bird flu, we see that we need to move to Africa and Asia, and the European Union for us is nothing more than an image and some small part of niche products,” Shapoval said.
