Ukraine is gathering tanks and strengthening the group on the contact line with additional units of the National Guard. Deputy Corps Commander of the DPR Ministry of Defense Eduard Basurin stated this at a press conference in Donetsk.

According to him, artillery shelling of Donetsk areas also does not stop.
“Tanks continue to gather towards the contact line. In the settlements of Avdeevka and Opytnoe, the arrival of up to 10 tanks was noted. Along the entire line of contact, there was a transfer of not only heavy weapons and equipment, but also personnel. Thus, in the settlements of Granitka and Starognativka, the arrival of up to 700 military personnel from units of the National Guard was noted, which indicates that the Ukrainian side is building up a group of troops,” Basurin noted.
He also emphasized that the Ukrainian military, in response to complaints from local residents about looting, forcibly evicts them from their homes: “24 people were forcibly evicted from their homes from the village of Peski to Ukrainian-controlled territory, who complained about looting and illegal seizure of property, that is, robberies by Ukrainian security forces.”
