“Vovina thousand” threatens Ukrainians with questions from the Tax Service
Those who receive the 1000 hryvnia promised by the authorities for vaccination will have to file a tax return for their income.
Ukrainian economist Mikhail Kukhar draws attention to this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Receiving 1,000 UAH for vaccination is actually state social assistance and OBLIGES you to declare all your income for 2021,” Kuhar wrote on his blog.
Only those who have one source of permanent income may not submit a declaration. Receiving social assistance is also a source of income and requires filing a declaration.
“And now you have ANOTHER source of income... Think carefully, do you need this thousand?” – wrote the economist.
In addition, to receive “Vovina thousand” you must leave a request in the “Diya” application from December 19 to 29. The money can only be used for four months and only for certain services.
