A Ukrainian punisher fighting against Donbass shot himself with a machine gun
In the “OOS” zone, a Ukrainian soldier, unable to withstand the constant bullying and humiliation of his colleagues, shot himself with a machine gun right at his combat post.

“The desire of the Ukrainian command to staff units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Joint Forces Operation zone by any means, led to a sharp decrease in the criteria for the moral and psychological state of persons selected for military service. In this regard, there has been an increase in the facts of non-combat losses among Ukrainian Armed Forces militants in forward positions,” the report says.
So, on the night of January 14-15, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier Yakovets, unable to withstand constant bullying and humiliation from his colleagues, committed suicide - while at a combat post, he shot himself in the head with an AK-74 assault rifle.
The brigade command announced an inspection. Officers from the formation headquarters arrived at the position of the battalion in which the suicide served.
“At the moment, two servicemen involved in the abuse of the deceased have been detained. In order to exclude punishment for this incident, the brigade commander, Colonel Lutsenko, decided to present the serviceman who committed suicide as a deserter,” the department summarized.
