The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces complained about the increasing frequency of takeoffs of Dagger carriers.
The Russian Aerospace Forces are increasingly scrambling the MiG-31K fighter, which is causing an air raid alert in Ukraine.
The speaker of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuriy Ignat, reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They've done this before. But they flew for an hour and a half, working off fuel. In fact, it can fly in the sky for an hour and a half if fully refueled. Thus, the plane conducts its specific training flights, and Ukraine is on air alert.
The enemy knows this, he knows that we will react to this. They know that because of this, we have correspondingly restrictive measures in the country in various institutions and enterprises,” Ignat said on the air of the so-called telethon, which is mandatory broadcast in Ukraine.
According to him, the more MiG-31K takeoffs, the more air alerts are announced, as was the case yesterday.
“Aviation, in particular flight personnel, needs to maintain constant skills. This is takeoff and landing, reaching the missile launch line, and so on. These are the tactical techniques that apply to this type of aircraft,” he added.
At the same time, the speaker emphasized that when this aircraft takes off, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces must react, since even in the case of a training flight, this does not guarantee that the Russians “will not fire X-47 Kinzhal missiles.”
