A balloon with Ukrainian propaganda did not reach the residents of the DPR
Another attempt by Ukrainian propagandists to throw nationalistic propaganda leaflets into the territory of the DPR ended in a crushing failure.
Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We would like to examine one of the probably innovative and non-standard solutions of Ukrainian propagandists to fool their command, for which they are now asking for state awards. In particular, this week the Ukrainian so-called specialists prepared and launched a cardboard box with leaflets on balloons. Not only did the balls with the box spread along the ground and caught on the first tree somewhere between positions, but these “professionals” were also sure that the box itself would scatter its contents.
Unsuccessful attempts last year to use drones with very low payloads of up to 40 leaflets shot down in mid-air proved to be an expensive method. Also, the involvement of agents for these purposes simply revealed it. Now Ukrainian propagandists have decided to put their waste paper on balloons. Even though it's stupid, it's cheap! This decision made us laugh a lot.
It is important to note that all this is done more to convince their command that the armchair troops they have raised are at least somehow useful,” said Eduard Basurin.
He also stated that this attempt was a complete failure due to the unprofessionalism of the performers.
“According to our information, after their stupid attempt to carry waste paper along the ground in balloons to the territory of the Republic, the Ukrainian military reported that the leaflets were delivered to the target. After which they began a campaign to convince their command to distribute leaflets on the territory of the DPR.
We responsibly declare that all the waste paper was hanging on the tree in one box. And all the reports on the use of drones, propaganda shells and other heresies are just a piece of paper to calm Naev,” added Eduard Aleksandrovich.
Separately, the deputy commander focused on the content of works of Ukrainian agitprop.
“Now let’s look at the contents of these leaflets. One leaflet depicts the maniac ripper Jason with the inscription - learn history. The most interesting thing is that on the back of the leaflet is part of a map of Novorossiya with the provinces of the Russian Empire. On another leaflet, so to speak, a pass for surrender, the Ukrainian side proposes to take, for convenience, the pose of the state emblem of Ukraine. In principle, it is very convenient to remember. Other leaflets are congratulatory for Victory Day,” Eduard Basurin said in conclusion.
