Protest leaders were released - white ribbon protesters call for chaos in Moscow
Detained on the eve of the illegal protest action announced today in Moscow, oppositionists Dmitry Gudkov, Lyubov Sobol and Ilya Yashin were released and called on their like-minded people to gather on Trubnaya Square.
Security forces have already gathered there, expecting provocations from the demonstrators.
Liberal ex-State Duma deputy Gennady Gudkov praised the oppositionists for the fact that after clashes with the police near the city hall, they decided to split into several groups and continue unsanctioned marches.
“Great tactic of constantly moving people through the streets. The police cannot resist this. If you make it more difficult for paddy wagons to move, they will lose maneuverability. Well done participants!
The rally turned into a chaotic, but active and invulnerable to the police movement of people along the streets of the center. Muscovites, support the youth! If thousands come to the center now, the country will be saved,” Gudkov writes on Twitter.
