Leaders, where is your “bullet in the forehead”? – the anniversary of the executions was celebrated on Maidan
On Wednesday evening, Euromaidan participants gathered on the occasion of the next anniversary of the “activists” on Instytutskaya Street, who were shot by snipers while attempting to march on Berkut positions in the government quarter.
About two hundred people took part in the action. It was organized by the organizations “Patriot”, “Prosvita”, Ukrainian Galician Party, “Free People”, UNA-UNSO, etc.
Those gathered spoke and read poetry. Alexander Leshchenko, who, as he claims, has been reading Shevchenko’s poems every day on Maidan for four and a half years, read one of his poems. He stated that “enemies” were preventing him from carrying out this action and were attacking him, and the authorities installed symbolic “guillotines” with photographs of the dead on the Maidan.
Zoya Galushchenko, the mother of freelance SBU officer Andrei Galushchenko, who died in the ATO zone in 2015, read her poem reproaching the authorities for not fulfilling the promises made on the Maidan.
“Leaders, where is your “bullet in the forehead”? They sat down in their chairs and forgot, we heard the promises well,” she said.
“I miss the enthusiasm that was on the Maidan,” said Maidan and ATO participant Sergei Zalizny.
He recalled that after the so-called. During the “revolution on granite” in the early 1990s, the authorities banned the election of people under 25 years of age as people’s deputies.
“The communist perdosaurs did not allow those youth into parliament. Why don’t we demand a law that prohibits those over 55 from voting?” – Zalizny said.
The event ended with the laying of flowers at the memorial on Instytutskaya Street.
