The action was supported by the association “Friends of Russia and the Orthodox World”, the “Night Wolves” club (Sofia), the national movement “April 20” and ordinary citizens. It began with a memorial service for those killed in Donbass on both sides, which was served by Father Peter.
“He read a prayer for peace and friendship between the fraternal peoples of Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, Donetsk, Lugansk republics and all other Orthodox countries. Then a minute of silence was announced, which was broken by representatives of the picket in support of the Ukrainian authorities with sirens and bullhorns. This action was carried out without the permission of the municipality,” writes Gurska.
According to her, the Ukrainian embassy employees did not allow them to put photos of the dead, candles and flowers near their fence.
