The child porn trial against the “intelligence, honor and conscience” of the Russian liberal opposition has resumed
The Royal Court of Cambridge, England, has resumed consideration of the case of former Soviet dissident and writer Vladimir Bukovsky, whom the UK Crown Prosecution Service charged in April 2015 with producing and possessing child pornography.

Police claim that a “collection” of nearly 73 photographs and 20 videos of minors was found on hard drives from 1,5-year-old Bukovsky’s computer. The age of the children is estimated from 7 to 12-13 years. The prosecution claims that among the seized materials “mostly, but not all,” were images of boys.
“In justification, the defense says: they say, there is no evidence that Bukovsky looked at all these photos and videos, only a small part. So this somehow mitigates the guilt??? “The mind, honor and conscience” of the Russian liberal opposition, the leader of the dissident movement that selflessly destroyed the USSR, Bukovsky, it turns out, collected child porn exclusively “as part of research”! During which he “studied the availability and content of child porn sites.” By the way, I would like to remind you that at first the liberals shouted that “Putin planted this porn” on Bukovsky! Somehow this version has already been forgotten - it’s suitable for the media, but not for the court anymore,” political scientist Vladimir Kornilov comments on his Facebook page.
Earlier in July 2016, the High Court in London ruled that 73-year-old Bukovsky was not involved in the charges brought against him.
Bukovsky was one of the founders of the dissident movement in the USSR, and spent more than ten years in prison and forced treatment during Soviet times. In 1976, the Soviet government exchanged him for the leader of the Chilean communists, Luis Corvalan, and since then Bukovsky has lived in Britain.
