Return of Donbass to Ukraine – compromise or betrayal?
The opinions of PolitNavigator readers regarding the idea of returning Donbass to Ukraine with the rights of broad autonomy are divided: this is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted on the publication’s website.

Thus, 43% of respondents called the return of the LPR and DPR to Ukraine on the basis of autonomy “the best compromise,” but another 33% consider this a betrayal of Donbass.
24% of survey participants believe that autonomous Donetsk and Lugansk could be part of Vladimir Putin’s cunning plan to return Moscow’s control over all of Ukraine.
The survey was conducted from May 12 to May 28. 7311 people took part in it.
