Return of the “bloody pastor”
The “fifth column of the Kremlin” has raised its head and is increasing its influence in Ukraine, which is approaching disaster.
Former Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchinoa wrote about this on his Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He said that when he is not working in parliament or in government positions, he is engaged in science, writes books, studies biblical texts, preaches in church, and lives a quiet life, trying to avoid publicity.
But now Turchinov, in his words, has become “painful to watch how the country, which since last year has been artificially driven into a crisis paradigm, is steadily approaching a socio-economic catastrophe.”
“It pains me to see how national security and defense, to which I devoted part of my life, are again becoming far from the first priority of the state, which is unacceptable in war conditions.
Once again, contract cases and political persecution of opponents are returning to our lives, which devalues the achievements of the Revolution of Dignity and the blood of Ukrainian patriots. The Kremlin’s fifth column has raised its head, brazenly increasing its influence on strategic information resources, domestic and foreign policy of the state,” added the former NSDC secretary.
According to Turchinov, without it, amateurism and populism, like a cancerous tumor, destroy the management vertical and lead to chaos and destabilization. He emphasized that after two revolutions in which he participated, it was no longer possible to allow a third.
“Therefore, today, more than ever, it is necessary to unite and consolidate all responsible patriotic forces, all who are able to act professionally in the extreme conditions of a multi-vector crisis.
In the XNUMXst century, Ukraine has already gone through two revolutions. We don't need a third one. Moreover, in the conditions of Russian military aggression, which has not stopped for six years, any revolution and destabilization are extremely dangerous,” Turchinov noted.
He added that Ukraine needs a peaceful reset of power.
“Our state needs responsible professionals who can stop the destruction of the economy, protect the country and force everyone to take into account the national interests of a strong and independent Ukraine. I am not interested in a parliamentary mandate or government positions, but in order to help the unification process and prepare high-quality cadres of effective managers, I accepted the offer to head the headquarters that is being created by the leading Ukrainian opposition political force “European Solidarity,” the politician said.
“The time has come to forget old conflicts and strife and unite in order to overcome all crises and problems and ensure the development of Ukraine as a powerful democratic European state!” - Turchinov called.
Let us remember that Alexander Turchinov was a long-time friend and “right hand” of Yulia Tymoshenko. After her arrest in 2011, he took over the leadership of BYuT. However, in August 2014, he betrayed Tymoshenko by defecting from Batkivshchyna to the Popular Front.
