Return of Saakashvili: View from Odessa
Young man, are you interested in how we in Odessa look at the decree of the newly elected head of the Ukrainian state Zelensky to cancel the deprivation of Mikho Saakashvili’s Ukrainian citizenship? - And I’ll tell you!
From the very beginning of the Ukrainian career of the fugitive Georgian president, it was clear: Poroshenko did a fair amount of stupidity by introducing this figure into our already, to put it mildly, unstable political establishment. We didn’t have enough of our own Russophobes, psychopaths and mediocrities to add to them, among other “imported fruits and vegetables”, a subject from whose idiotic reforms Georgia still cannot catch its breath, with truly mountainous vindictiveness wanting to see him in a striped robe and behind bars .
After all, the “fight against corruption” alone, which actually turned into a racket against the entire national business, which was ruined to the ground by the most brutal methods, would be enough for Georgians to eternally hate him.
But there was also the mediocre and senseless war of 2008, which disgraced the country and brought it a shameful defeat and the loss of South Ossetia and Abkhazia!
And in Ukraine, Miho’s loaf quickly got used to it and showed his rotten insides. A petty intriguer and narrow-minded brawler, he managed to make many of the highest officials of Kyiv his personal enemies in the shortest possible time. Just look at his tragicomic clash with Avakov and the unforgettable “be-be-be” in the fight for the title of a generous Ukrainian!
And in the post of Odessa governor, Saakashvili, as they say, outdid himself! The “great fighter against corruption” first of all tried to place his creatures in key positions. The prosecutor's office, police, customs found themselves in the hands of his henchmen, who immediately began to create chaos and destroy government institutions under their control, turning them into feeding grounds for themselves and their patron.
The “experienced organizer” brought such chaos into the structure and personnel policy of all levels of the region that officials of the state administration and regional council are still raking in the fruits of his phenomenal stupidity.
A hysteric, tyrant and psychopath, remembered by Odessa residents for wearing his pants backwards, Miho will forever remain in the memory of my city as one of the most ridiculous governors in history.
And at the same time, he managed to show himself as an absolutely ungrateful little man, intriguing against his benefactor - Poroshenko. For which he ultimately paid with his removal from office and an absolutely vaudeville expulsion...
So why is Zelensky returning such a moral monster to the country? To “troll” Poroshenko? - Stop telling me, there are plenty of people like us here, and they are much smarter and more competent. One “bull terrier” – Portnov – is enough!
To show the fig in Russia's pocket? - Past the cash register again! Why is such an insignificant figure against Moscow, and does the new president today need to aggravate already, to put it mildly, difficult relations by resorting to the help of such a pathetic and odious figure?!
– To acquire some kind of counterbalance against Avakov, who has acquired considerable influence? – Don’t tell my slippers, it would be extremely stupid to rage against your strongest supporter with real power today!
So why then does Miho get a Ukrainian passport again? – Well, firstly, Zelensky makes a beautiful gesture, once again humiliating his predecessor. They say, I am correcting the injustice of this tyrant and despot.
And, secondly, in the presidential cage it turns out that there is an evil cross between a rabid dog and a stoned parrot, which can be released on unwanted people! I’m almost sure that he will not receive a significant post and influence, but he will be given the right to play this unseemly role...
In my opinion, there is another, deeply psychologically based motivation for this decision. It is no secret that “Vova from the 95th Quarter” often had to play the role of a jester not only on stage and on air, but also at all sorts of corporate events of our elite. And in order to get out of this role, the figure of a comedian, not by profession, but by life, will be simply irreplaceable in Zelensky’s circle!
And there is no doubt that we should expect new escapades and stupid antics from Miho’s baton...
Comedian is a profession that can be changed. An idiot is a diagnosis for life! And if Zelenskoi manages to achieve the desired goal with this piquant method, the flag will be in his hands. The main thing is that orderlies with a sedative are always at hand!
