“There will be no return to the past”: Kots predicts a new round of escalation
The announcement of the international wanted list of Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as his visit to Mariupol, indicate that the West and Russia intend to go to the end in this confrontation.
Military correspondent Alexander Kots stated this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Vladimir Putin visited Mariupol, plus a warrant was issued for him. It seemed to us that all this, if we put it all together, is a sign and a reason that we really have nowhere to retreat, and we will go to the end,” the presenter asked.
“I agree, we will go to the end. But the warrant issued for the arrest of Vladimir Putin also signals that the West will go to the end.
Therefore, if anyone else had illusions that we would return to our previous life, it seems to me that the arrival of Vladimir Putin, the ICC warrant, and the reaction to this warrant from Western politicians should convince everyone that there will be no peaceful life for the next few years.
And the past life will no longer exist. There will be a new world order, but even the most eminent futurists will not be able to predict what it will be now,” Kots replied.
