The day before, members of the assembly decided to postpone the decision on membership in the organization of the Palestinian Authority, Kosovo and the Solomon Islands.
Currently, 190 countries have joined Interpol, created to unite the efforts of law enforcement agencies of various states. The General Assembly, which meets annually, is Interpol's highest administrative body. The elected president acts as head of the assembly.
