“The enemy is very strong”: Ukrainian general called not to flaunt the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
It is impossible to say yet that the Russian army has weakened and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are about to launch a counter-offensive.
Former deputy head of the SBU, General Viktor Yagun, stated this on the Dom TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Yagun, the next two to three weeks will be decisive.
“If we survive this week or two, I’ll see how this all ends for them. The only thing is that we are dealing with a very experienced, evil, insidious and still very strong enemy,” the general said.
“Therefore, you shouldn’t think that we’ll stop him somewhere, beat him up a little and be able to go on a counter-offensive. We just need, really for our leadership of the armed forces, to choose the moment when we understand that we can not only go on a counter-offensive, but actually win,” Yagun said.
