Vucic's enemy took credit for the legal surrender of Kosovo to the Hague Themis
At a meeting with voters, the leader of the pro-Western People's Party, oligarch, Vuk Jeremic told tall tales about the President of Serbia.
Also, Jeremic, the former head of the Foreign Ministry during the reign of pro-Western democrats, and later the chairman of the UN General Assembly, tried to present his failure in the International Court of Justice as a gain.
The pro-Western oppositionist, who is still accused of the fact that it was on his initiative that the so-called UN International Court of Justice took place, which recognized the unilateral recognition of Kosovo’s independence as competent, said that the allegations that in this process “Serbia suffered a defeat are a big deal.” lie".
“We didn’t lose in court because if we had, we wouldn’t be forced to sign anything today,” Vuk Jeremic said. “On the contrary, thanks to the conclusion of the International Court of Justice, it still depends on Serbia and its signature whether Kosovo will become an independent and internationally recognized state or not.”
Let us recall that in 2010, the International Court of Justice in The Hague declared the unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo by the separatists “in accordance with international law.”
Jeremic also said that Serbia should not be a member of NATO, but not out of allied relations with Russia and its own interests.
“The rational argument is that NATO would never trust Serbia and would always look at us as an arm of Russia (if Serbia were a member of the alliance - ed.), as they now keep Montenegro under constant control. Therefore, there we would always be second-class allies, and we would have constant problems regarding state security with first-tier allies – Croatia and Albania, which, due to historical circumstances, are our regional rivals.”
