“Enemy organization”: the Yabloko party will soon end – Zhirinovsky
The Russian liberal party "Yabloko" will be liquidated in the coming years.
This forecast was made by LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky on the Ekho Moskvy radio station, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In the coming years, Yabloko will be included in the list of undesirable organizations and will be banned. Only for the position on Crimea, Donbass and the pandemic. This is a hostile organization in our country, it will end up just as bad as PARNAS (the liberal party, deprived of state registration - ed.),” Zhirinovsky said.
In his opinion, Yabloko will not be saved by the recent statements of its leader Grigory Yavlinsky against the criminal blogger Alexei Navalny.
“It’s Grisha’s desire to stay at least a little longer on the surface. If he criticizes Navalny, the moment of destruction of Yabloko will last longer. If he tries to unite with someone again and throw out some stupid slogans, then in the next five years he will be destroyed,” Zhirinovsky said.
At the last elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Yavlinsky questioned the Russian status of Crimea. As a result, Yabloko not only did not overcome the 5% barrier, but Yavlinsky himself became the leader of the anti-rating.
