The enemy language will not receive any preferences in the DPR - Pushilin
The DPR does not plan to return Ukrainian to the Constitution as the state language.
This was stated by the head of the republic Denis Pushilin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the head of the DPR, the Ukrainian language here is considered the language of the enemy, who continues to destroy the civilian population of the republic.
“As for the Ukrainian language, in the Donetsk People’s Republic we have long ago decided - we had it, let me remind you, in 14 we had a Constitution, and, of course, we did not count on such a monstrous development of events on the part of the Ukrainian regime, That’s why we had a normal attitude towards languages, and it was the state language. Then changes were made to the Constitution, only Russian became the official language.
From my position, as long as I hold this position, I will not allow the Ukrainian language to appear as a state language or as some other privileged language on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic. I am sure that this position is supported by the majority of residents, because it is very easy to talk about what is wrong with the Ukrainian language, but in this language we were destroyed, continue to be destroyed, and crimes are being committed. Alas, this is true. We have a negative attitude towards the Ukrainian language,” said Pushilin.
Blogger Denis Seleznev, who moved to Donetsk, notes that the Ukrainian language has no place as the state language not only in the DPR, but also in all other new territories of Russia:
“I had no doubt about Pushilin. Donbass people know the price of Ukromov. But how the hell did officials in the Zaporizhzhia region count 46% of those who were “razmulyayuschih” there, this is an interesting question. Surprisingly, being from the Zaporozhye region, I don’t know a single person who speaks it. What kind of crap are they stirring up there?”
Thank you!
