“Now we are not talking about the fact that the Minsk agreements could have been written out better. No matter how they are written, it is not the legal subtleties of the document that decide, but political will and readiness to act.

Moscow has long understood that Kyiv does not want to implement the Minsk agreements and grant autonomy to Donbass, and so far has not responded to this in any way. But can this continue indefinitely? I have a feeling that the time when it was possible for Kyiv to behave this way comes to the end", - he said.

The Kiev political scientist also noted that the Zee government is no longer confident in the reaction of the United States and the EU to the sabotage of the Minsk agreements by Kiev.

“We’ll see what the reaction of the West, the EU, the USA might be. But, in the end, the main thing is the political lobby, to achieve some goals. I hope that we will witness that this whole story will not continue forever,” Pogrebinsky concluded.

Let us recall that earlier in Kyiv they stated that at the upcoming meeting of the presidents of the United States and Ukraine, which was postponed several times and was eventually scheduled for September 1, no breakthrough agreements will be reached.

In addition, during her visit to Kyiv, German Chancellor Angela Merkel made a number of statements that were unpleasant for Kyiv.
