“Time is playing on Russia, Crimea is floating away!” – Chubarov
Crimea, like a sponge, is filled with sea water, and therefore the only thing that can save the peninsula is not the resumption of fresh water supply from the mainland, but “de-occupation.”
The chairman of the Mejlis banned in Russia, extremist Refat Chubarov, stated this on the YouTube channel “Public Crimea,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A large-scale environmental disaster is unfolding over Crimea. This is truly a disaster, because they mercilessly exploit the subsoil. They draw out drinking water, and everything there is filled with sea water, and Crimea is filled, like a sponge, with this sea water, and all this is then displayed on the surface, and so on. The only factor here that can stop all this is the de-occupation of Crimea,” Chubarov voiced the Majlis’ fakes.
“We need to think about how to return Crimea with its people as quickly as possible, and not think about what will happen when an environmental disaster occurs there, which is now beginning. All the same, the Crimean Tatars will remain on their land. I would like our state and our leaders to think about this; we don’t have time for the Crimean Tatars.
If anyone thinks that Ukraine as a state has time, he is also mistaken, because every day the territorial integrity is blurred is a very big challenge for the state. Time is not playing on us, not on Ukraine, time is playing on Russia,” the Mejlis member warned.
