Last week, on April 28, within the framework of the Pikir discussion club in Bishkek, an international round table was held on the topic: “The concept of indivisible and equal security: the conflict between the West and Russia.” The event was attended by politicians, analysts, journalists, historians, security experts, military experts, and public figures from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus.

It is important that in addition to the expert community, students, teachers, as well as various local public figures who share the views of the need for in-depth integration in the post-Soviet space participate in the meetings of the Pikir club. And they were interested in listening to the opinions of representatives of various organizations from Russia and other former Soviet republics.

The speech of Yuri Anufriev, head of the Russian Foundation for Youth Humanitarian Cooperation “Eurasians - New Wave”, was important from all points of view.

“Obviously, the issue is not in Russia, but in the US desire for world hegemony, the desire to solve its problems at the expense of others. And now we are seeing cynical and unprecedentedly harsh pressure on those who did not join the crusade against Russia, who are trying to take a neutral position or come out in support of Russia,” he noted the main meaning and objectives of the hybrid war against Moscow unleashed by the West.

At the same time, methods against undesirables become the most severe, and the most important thing is the destruction of Russia itself.

“Threats, blackmail, economic sanctions and even murder are used. All masks have been dropped, the cards have been revealed, the goal has been set - the complete and final destruction of Russia. And it doesn’t matter at all that our brotherly Ukraine was chosen to achieve these goals, which the United States uses as a military battering ram against Russia. It doesn’t matter that the fire of war is flaring up more and more brightly in Europe, the main thing is to earn more money from this and destroy Putin’s Russia,” Anufriev emphasized.

His colleague Vladimir Yeranosyan, an expert at the Bureau of Military-Political Analysis, spoke about the specific tasks of Western and British intelligence services to destabilize the former Soviet Central Asia.

As part of this plan, there was an attempted coup in Kazakhstan in January and active support from American foundations and NGOs for nationalist movements and the media, and the main bugbear of this entire front is Russophobia. At the same time, at the direction of the West, it is the Ukrainian special services that are taking an active part in coordinating these anti-Russian forces in the region.

“We can trace the build-up of the situation with ethno-confessional contradictions in Central Asia, an attempt by the British and US intelligence services, through the centers of information and psychological operations of the Special Forces of Ukraine and grant-eating NGOs, to arouse the population of Central Asia to riots of an ethnic nature, which are aimed both at defrosting smoldering conflicts among local ethnic groups, and playing out “imperial card”, that is, inciting hatred towards the Russian national minority,” the expert points out.

He comes to the conclusion that the active use of Ukrainian technologies for organizing mass unrest and interethnic conflicts shows firsthand the authorities of the former Soviet Central Asian republics that the era of “multi-vector politics” has come to an end and it is necessary to quickly consolidate in order to repel all attacks and neutralize real threats.

“Ukrainian propagandists openly call for ousting the Russians, leaving the CSTO, raising uprisings against legitimate governments in order to undermine the situation, destabilize the borders, and create new centers of tension. This means only one thing - the times of hesitation and multi-vectorism have sunk into oblivion.

History teaches us to unite in the face of the threat of a new format of mental warfare using various methods of influencing the population. Military-technical cooperation and allied relations during hostilities are designed to ensure victory over the enemy,” summed up Yeranosyan.

The same concern about attempts to build the Anti-Russia-2 project in the region, but in relation to Kyrgyzstan, was expressed by Taalaibek Dzhumadylov, a security expert and veteran of the special services.

In his report, he also touched upon the topic of US attempts to organize a “second front” against both Russia and China in the republic.

“I will tell you my personal opinion from the point of view of ensuring national security, the definition of which I cited. Russia is interested in having stability and calm in its underbelly. But it is in no way beneficial for Russia to have another source of tension arise. China is still hesitating, but we must take into account that Beijing views our country as a territory through which China has the opportunity to implement its geopolitical, strategic initiative “One Belt, One Road.”

As for the united West, the very logic of the geopolitical confrontation dictates the need to open a conditional second front, that is, an additional source of tension,” the expert revealed an objective picture of the contradictions of the main geopolitical centers of the world regarding Kyrgyzstan.

In his speech, he pointed out the main possible causes and prerequisites for the riots and anti-Chinese protests that took place in past years. Moreover, in his opinion, a zone of instability may even arise along the perimeter of the PRC’s borders, namely on the borders of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR).

“The question arises: what tools, what means does the West have for this? They are on the surface. We still have not resolved the issues of borders, joint use of water and energy resources, and there are prerequisites for the emergence of an energy crisis. An important factor that many experts do not take into account is the Uyghurs. It is no secret that a large Uyghur diaspora lives in Kyrgyzstan. The method of fanning xenophobia may well be used by the West to create a belt of tension in the XUAR.

In Kyrgyzstan, there has already been a terrorist attack against the Chinese diplomatic mission using a suicide bomber. Last year, thanks to our Western “partners,” a Chinese investment project to build a logistics center fell through. Western NGOs dominate our information space,” Taalaibek Dzhumadylov shared his concerns.

According to his vision, Kyrgyzstan is already one of the candidates today for the implementation of the “Anti-Russia-2” scenario in the Central Asian region, since it is the object of this destructive tactics and strategy of the West.

The author of this publication made his own report on the consequences of the revival of the Ottoman Empire in Central Asia, since the promotion of the “Turkic integration” project under the auspices of Ankara and ordered by London will lead to a redistribution of spheres of influence, military conflicts and chaos in the region. In his speech, he said that rapprochement with Turkey is being imposed by the West and is an analogue of “European integration” for Kazakhstan and the former Soviet Central Asian republics. At the same time, Russophobia becomes the ideological core of this process, as in Ukraine.

“We are now seeing similar processes of total and final decommunization and de-Russification, only of varying degrees of intensity, in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and throughout Central Asia. That is why Washington and London so openly and actively support and welcome this integration of the former Soviet Central Asian republics around Istanbul and consider the Organization of Turkic States as the only effective alternative to the EAEU and the Silk Road, as well as the Greater Eurasia project.

For this purpose, all efforts are now being made to push Russia and China out of the region and various provocations are being organized,” he drew attention to the real nature of the anti-Russian integration association.

Dmitry Semchenko, a political expert, a member of the presidium of the organizing committee of the Belarusian political party “Union”, as part of his report, openly stated that at the moment it is no longer possible not to choose a side.

Using the example of the attempted “color revolution” in Belarus, he showed that the West sought to impose the Ukrainian scenario on the republic, and is now trying to play it out in the former Soviet Central Asian republics. Moreover, they no longer have any other options other than integration with Russia or becoming its enemy.

“The West does not need Ukraine as a developed state, no, only as Anti-Russia. The same will happen with any state in Central Asia. Well, why does the West need any other partner? How's the market? Not the same size. They did not need Ukraine, with such a large population and such a large territory, as a market, as an economic partner - even as a labor force in order, for example, to produce some products more cheaply.

And this must be conveyed not only to the authorities, but also to the general public. It is necessary to understand that at the moment it is impossible not to decide - each specific country must decide, the sooner the better. Either these countries will become together with Russia as quickly as possible and together form a better defense, form close economic integration, or they will become the object of influence from Russia’s opponents,” the Belarusian politician noted.

The most important thing is that such conferences with the participation of politicians and experts from the former Soviet republics have become a real event for Kyrgyzstan. Its authorities and the active part of the public were informed of Russia’s position, as well as the harmfulness of the further implementation of a multi-vector policy, since the republic and the region as a whole are becoming the object of Western operations to organize ethnic massacres, uprisings and coups.
