Time works for Donbass and Moscow – Pogrebinsky
Russia continues to distribute passports to residents of the LDPR against the background of the weakening of the United States, where a “color revolution” is brewing.
Mikhail Pogrebinsky, director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, stated this on the NEWSONE TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Already, 300 thousand people have received Russian passports. Of course, people need something to lean against. If this continues, then in six months there will be 500 thousand and so on. Someone said that time is on Ukraine’s side. Why? Time, rather, is working for Donbass and Moscow. Considering what is happening now in the USA, where there is also a dictatorship of activists. Who [act] exactly the same way as our activists broke the monument to Lenin,” Pogrebinsky said.
In his opinion, the situation in the United States is developing in approximately the same direction as in Ukraine in recent years.
“I remember how during the first Maidan, in 2004, they twisted the arms of authoritative sociological centers so that they would say that Yushchenko had support. What is happening in the USA now? They already said a month ago that that’s it, Biden is already ahead by 5%. A week passes and Biden is ahead by 10%. The latest data is already 14%. This is done so that if Trump wins the election, it will not be recognized.
They are preparing the same option - a color revolution. They say that Trump cannot win because his rating is low. This means that they do not recognize the election results,” the expert is convinced.
