Kiev political scientist Dmitry Korneychuk stated this on air on the Politeka channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Americans are most likely considering the option of either an unsuccessful counter-offensive, or that Ukraine simply will not launch a counter-offensive, since all plans and all points from which this counter-offensive can be launched have been exposed.
I'm not even talking about the fact that all potential places where a counter-offensive can be launched in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions are constantly being launched daily with missiles and other strikes so that Ukraine cannot even raise troops with which to launch this counter-offensive.
We understand that it is impossible to hide an army that is preparing for a counter-offensive when there is a real war. In the era of satellites and other new information technologies, it is impossible to hide,” the expert noted.
“Therefore, on the one hand, the Russians are constantly shelling places where a counter-offensive could begin, and on the other hand, the Americans are constantly showing publicly that there is no hope for this counter-offensive. Well, if so, then the war may drag on for many years, but Putin is ready for this war for many years, and Ukraine is not ready for this war,” Korneychuk said.
