The leader of Svoboda, Oleg Tyagnibok, said this in his speech on the Kiev Maidan during the celebrations dedicated to the anniversary of the birth of the leader of one of the OUN branches, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He called for remembering Bandera’s works, his calls for struggle and warnings about the eternal enemy of Ukraine and Ukrainians.
“And you and I, modern nationalists, must remember his wise teaching,” the Ukrainian politician emphasized. – You cannot negotiate with Moscow. Whatever power there is - communist, pseudo-democratic or liberal - they will still treat Ukraine as their raw materials appendage, and they will want to make Ukrainians slaves and serfs. Moscow is the eternal enemy of Ukrainians, Bandera said. In order for the national liberation revolution to become victorious (and the time will come when the national revolution will win in Ukraine), we need to remember the greatness of our liberation movement and the great guide Stepan Bandera.”
