“Everything was covered with a copper basin.” Failure of Ukrainian intelligence in Belarus
The Ukrainian special services failed the special operation, which they had been developing for about a year.
Kiev journalist Dmitry Gordon, who recently conducted a complimentary interview with Lukashenko, stated this on air on the Russian liberal TV channel Dozhd.
We are talking about an attempt to lure so-called Russian “mercenaries” to Ukraine, who were detained in Belarus, but later returned to their homeland. Gordon confirmed that the operation was prepared by the Ukrainian special services, but it failed allegedly due to the betrayal of the entourage of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
“This information is absolutely true; I cannot disclose details that are not indicated. I'll tell you that this operation was prepared for a year. This is a very serious operation, it was prepared by highly qualified people from Ukraine, Ukrainian intelligence - and more than one intelligence agency. Unfortunately, everything came to a head precisely because of the betrayal of some people around the president,” Gordon said.
Earlier, Gordon, after his communication with the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated that he gave the green light the Belarusian prosecutor's office to hand over to the SBU the unjustifiably detained Russians, former Donbass militias, whom official Minsk accused of preparing for unrest during the presidential elections.
