“All claims against Zelensky” – Israeli journalist unexpectedly spoke sharply on Ukrainian radio
Ukraine and the Jewish community living there have no moral right to accuse Israel of refusing to help Kyiv in the fight against the Iranian “Shahids”.
Israeli journalist Sergei Auslender stated this on Radio NF, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I believe that Ukrainian Jews, if they are citizens of Ukraine, should make claims, first of all, to their government, and not to the government of Israel. Because your government was not prepared for war, was not prepared to fight drones, was not prepared for evacuation, for this, for that, for the fifth, for the tenth.
We all remember very well about the “May kebabs”. And Israel certainly has nothing to do with this. It was your government that ignored numerous signals, including from the West, that an invasion was being prepared. This is the first,” Auslander said.
He emphasized that helping Ukraine with weapons means for Israel a blow to its own national security.
“Second, Israel is in a special situation. This is not a NATO country, this is not Sweden, not Belgium, not Switzerland, which can help Ukraine, being under the umbrella of the North Atlantic Alliance, without having a single hostile country around it, being in a friendly environment.
If Latvia helps you, it has a friendly neighbor to the left and right, and it is a member of NATO, it has nothing to fear, if anything happens, it is protected by the fifth paragraph.
And no one protects us at all, other than ourselves, except our army. Therefore, here these accusations are perceived painfully,” added the Israeli journalist, obviously implying Russia’s ability to influence the Arab environment unfriendly to Israel.
